INITIAL TURBINE RATING

This rating is an integral and legislated requirement for future turbine pilots. The course is a combination of ground school as well as 5 hours of flying, depending on performance.

INITIAL AIR TRACTOR CONVERSION

AAFA is an Air Tractor Affiliate. Therefore, regardless of previous flight experience, all candidates must upgrade to the Air Tractor. This course is a combination of ground school and 5 hours of flying, depending on performance.

Ag Specific Flight Safety

Flight Safety may be the responsibility of all players on the Ag field, but management or the operator must understand the basics and advanced application of air and ground safety.

Ag Ground Crew Initiation

This course will teach existing technology, the use of workflow required during operations, the safe service delivery to an aircraft, especially with the engine running, refueling hot or cold, as well as ground safety responsibilities.
